Job Scope
CapriComm was originally approached by Lonmin to assist the mine in developing a Communication Strategy, Policy and Procedures and to compile a Communication Plan for its SPPC regeneration campaign. We also assisted in training its Internal Communication staff on developing such documents and to build the required infrastructure and channel network to facilitate effective internal communications at Lonmin.
Over the years, we have also designed various communication material for the mine.

Communication Strategy, Policy and Procedures
- Working with the Internal Communications Department to develop a Communication Strategy and Policy for Lonmin
- Developing communication policies to be implemented by the Internal Communication Department
- Making proposals with regard to the internal communication infrastructure and its channel network
- Developing a Communication Plan for the SPPC regeneration campaign
Graphic Design
- A Questions & Answer booklet about the new bonus system, using visual images and easy to understand graphics
- Posters, banners and an handbook for the newly implemented Centralised Blasting System at Saffy Shaft
- Banners for the Lonmin Fun Run
- Posters for the Hossy Shaft Safety Improvement Plan
